“We’re thrilled to be partnering with The 519 as our July Charity Rewards partner. As the largest LGBTQ2S community centre and service provider in Canada, The 519 is creating an essential and meaningful impact within LGBTQ2S communities and we’re honored to be supporting their important work through our Charity Rewards program,” said Debbie McDowell, Director of Communications & Social Impact, Sephora Canada.

Sephora Canada’s beautiful initiative is likely to foster meaningful change and help customers feel comfortable and fearless regarding gender identity.

How Does It Work?

The beauty retailer raises the charity funds by allowing customers to exchange:

  • 500 points for a $10 donation
  • 1,000 points for a $20 donation
  • 1,500 points for a $30 donation

#2 – The Zalando & Sephora Partnership – Disrupting the Beauty Market

Sephora announced that it would be teaming up with Zalando, Europe’s leading online platform for lifestyle and fashion. The idea is to give new customers the ability to shop online via the Zalando site that has over 42 million active customers.

“This partnership illustrates our ambition to relentlessly innovate to delight our customers better than anyone else. Zalando, which today is the most successful online fashion platform in Europe, is the ideal partner for us to continue to inspire customers,” said Martin Brok, President and CEO of Sephora.

“By bringing together fashion, accessories, and prestige beauty under one roof, we will offer them the best destination to ‘look great and feel great’, in a unique premium environment. This partnership is a key step in our European growth strategy and illustrates our vision for the future of Beauty and Retail”.

Way to tap into a fresh new market as Zalando doesn’t yet offer beauty products on its digital platform. The partnership will elevate its beauty offering – making it a win-win for both brands.
