Pizza Hut just launched PizzaHutShop.com to enable its devoted fans the opportunity to buy themed apparel and merch. The products’ style is inspired by the nostalgic style red roof and checkered tablecloths associated with the in-person Pizza Hut experience.

The limited-edition capsule collection is called Pizza Hut Tastewear. Most of it would be wearable – in the form of tracksuits, slides, t-shirts, and a necklace, though it also includes themed cups, all priced slightly higher than you’d expect to pay if you are not a truly loyal fan of the brand.

The marketing message speaks to those who regard the experience as priceless: “Get used to smiling for pictures because our Tastewear collection is here and it’s piping hot. Designed to make getting dressed feel more like eating pizza, these limited-edition items look great in any situation.”

Pizza Hut is delivering what customers have clamored for in the form of the $99 checked tracksuit. You may recall that Craig Robinson wore a Pizza Hut tracksuit in his commercials for the brand to stir up nostalgic feelings (see Pizza and Pac-Man Perfect Together).

The actor shared that his tracksuit was, in fact, made out of Pizza Hut tablecloth. The red fabric was tailored for him specifically in an interview with Uproxx. His interviewer seemed somewhat disappointed that it was not readily available for purchase.

But now anyone can order a tracksuit ready-made in sizes S-XXL while supplies last. Though it is likely not made of vintage tablecloths, it does have the authenticity of being made for Pizza Hut. Fans are assured that the tracksuit is the ultimate fanwear:

“The true pizza de resistance of our Tastewear collection. Strutting around in this tracksuit will make you feel like a million pepperonis.”

My prediction is that these things will move quickly, given what we’ve seen happen for Big Mac scented candles. People do put their money where their mouth is, particularly when the food brand delivers fond feelings of nostalgia.
