- Anthropologie, Sephora, and Macy’s are finding creative ways to inspire and honor women this International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month
On March 8, the world celebrated and honored women – their achievements and overall strength.
Brands, that day and throughout this month, also find unique ways to show their support for women.
Here are three quick examples that we liked of brands giving back.
1. Anthropologie
From now until the end of 2021, the American clothing retailer has announced that it will team up with She’s the First, a non-profit organization headquartered in New York City. By fighting gender inequality through education – the organization makes sure that girls and women have their voices heard.
Here’s how it works: 1% of Anthropologie dress purchases during the month of March will be donated to She’s the First.

2. Sephora
The French multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products is also finding ways to encourage women from across the globe by partnering with Project Glimmer, a non–profit organization dedicated to inspiring every single girl to envision and realize an empowered future.
The idea is to reward customers with a unique points system. Here’s what Sephora writes on Instagram:
We’re proud to partner with @projectglimmer to bring you an opportunity to use your points for good—visit the Rewards Bazaar to redeem your Beauty Insider points for a Charity Reward, and we will donate to this amazing organization working to empower young girls on your behalf.

3. Macy’s
To show support for girls and women everywhere, on March 8, customers can buy women’s tees for just $10 with eligible purchases at the American department store.
In the last year, Macy’s also donated $1.3M to Girls Inc. – a non–profit organization that urges girls and women to be “Strong, Smart, and Bold” through direct service and advocacy.
