Podcasts for Marketing Leaders: August 2020

Here’s a list of 10 podcast episodes we think will make anyone who listens to them a better marketer. Though, they are not all about marketing. Not at all

Welcome to our second monthly “PostFunnel’s recommended podcasts episodes from the past month”. You gotta admit, it’s quite a catchy name.

Last month I got a little excited and listed no less than 14 episodes on you. I can’t promise it will never happen again, but for now – let’s agree that 10 sounds like a magic number to stick by?

This month’s crop includes 4 shows we mentioned last month, and 6 (duh) that did not make the previous cut. Some huge names here, some maybe less known ones – but all are having insightful, relevant conversations for the enthusiastic, eager, ambitious, range-thirsty marketer.

Notice the “range” thing? It’s because most of these podcast episodes are not ONLY ABOUT MARKETING. That’s on purpose. That’s the point.

You’ll find social, business, personal and other issues are discussed here. But each have something that will help you become a better professional.

All links are to the episode’s Spotify page. There’s also a Spotify playlist at the bottom.

Enjoy.

**

8. Shop The ‘Bewk. Enhanced Shopping Experiences Launch on Facebook & Instagram, Aug 28 (1:16:03)
Marketing O’Clock

This weekly podcast is one of the most free-flowing conversations about marketing I came across. One thing I particularly enjoy is both how they can stir away from pure marketing convo, but then also how they always make sure to give the marketing angle of it. This episode is probably the most packed of last month’s.

**

9. Retail Rundown with Karl Haller and David Hemmat , Aug 31 (33:35mins)
RETHINK RETAIL

Where they go deep into the 2020 US Retail Index findings.

**

10. How To Take Action | Monday Marketing Takes: Daymond John, Aug 31 ( 15:35)
The GaryVee Audio Experience

Where he talk Daymond John from Shark Tank about ways businesses can take action in the current social climate. Which is one of the most burning questions for marketers these days.
